Once off the main highway, your journey begins with a 25-minute scenic drive through a beautiful historic farming area before reaching the designated car park.  Once at the carpark it is only a 450-meter walk through native bush to your destination.

Sit back, relax, soak in the views and enjoy a complete absence of people. Comfortable deck chairs are provided, as is the most comfortable bed we can find. Here all the facilities you require including a fabulous shower, flush toilet, crisp linen, cooking and eating equipment including a gas hob and barbeque, tea coffee and milk; as well as an assortment of games, local reference books, a telescope and a whole lot of nothing to do!

Made from fresh local ingredients the evening meal includes a snack platter with a tasty selection of cheeses, dips, pâté, bread or crackers, relishes, olives and cured meat or salmon. The main will include the chef’s selection of a locally produced meat (ready for you to cook on either the hob or barbecue, with instructions provided) accompanied with seasonal salads or vegetables and potatoes, plus something delightfully sweet to finish. Breakfast is either homemade toasted muesli or coconut, chia & cranberry Bircher, both served with fresh yoghurt and berry compote. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available.

Not suitable for those with mobility challenges (sorry). Glass, when wet, is slippery and unsafe so we provide facilities for your wet shoes and jackets.

While you can walk back out to stock up on supplies you’ll find that the desire to stay put and relax is overwhelming! So please ensure you have enough food and drink to totally indulge the isolation.

Another cabin close by can also accommodate 2 people should you be travelling with another couple.  Both cabins are totally private from one another.
